well they could have hired him a lot cheaper than what they paid for the preacher... I think that was Ted Carter's call anyways

would MJ have gotten DR? unknown.. but he would have gotten good recruits out of LA.

the kids also would have played hard for him, and he wouldn't put up with bs from a coach who was not performing.

we will never know how that could have turned out... MJ may have drew the longest stick after all.

Just open the damn bank vault and hire the best money can buy. MJ would be a great interim solution. But jessus, nobody in LA cares about UCLA football. Everyone in Nebraska cares about NU football. If we need to buy a Dodgers-like championship team then just fricking do it.

Don't we already have a national championship WR coach already on staff? Ron Brown? Pretty sure he could fill in if needed.
