Actually there was a foul before the game winner. Hold the phone. .2 left. Final now.

I can't stand KU, but they almost pulled out the win, taking advantage of numerous OU miscues, without Ellis and Alexander. Gotta tip your hat to them for the effort.

Still, glad they lost.

Are you speaking of the bestest team, from the bestest conference? With the bestest coach and the bestest fans?

IF the selection committee decides to use the joke that is the RPI, then they are. Kansas did play a very tough schedule, though some of their SOS rating just has to do with knowing how to manipulate that RPI number. Kansas got a 2 last year with a 24-9 record.

I really, really hope that Kansas is in the Midwest Region, especially as a 2 seed, because there's almost no way that Kansas manages to make it to the Elite 8, 2 seed or otherwise. I honestly think this is the worst Kansas team in about a decade, and they're being propped up in the polls because the Big 12 is thought to be so good (we'll see in the tourney), and because no one else in that conference has managed to step up on a consistent basis this year.

The foul on the three point shot was a joke. Kansas shouldn't have even had a chance to tie the game. I absolutely hate the flop as a three point shooter gets hit on the tip of a fingernail.

No doubt. The defender didn't even make ANY contact with the shooter. He just fell down and got the call. Once again referees anticipating contact that did not even happen.

Kansas is an incredibly weak 2 seed, but unless Maryland or ND make conference tourney runs, it's hard to see them losing it. They are a 2 by default only at this point.

I don't know, maybe Wichita St. will surprise and sneak up their. Wouldn't really mind that at this point.

Edit: Nevermind...didn't realize WSU got beat today.
