Ohio's Governor is ordering closure of bars and restaurants in Ohio tonight. (Take out and delivery still will be allowed.) He's supposedly a Republican, but only Democrats seem to be applauding his decision. I believe that we've reached the point of overreaction, but what do ya'll think?

Or.....people aren't heeding the warnings and using this time off work/school as an extended "vacation" and not for what it was designed to do....perhaps?

Take political parties and loyalty out of the discussion for a moment. If one listened to Faucci this morning, this type of action is not surprising for leaders that care about their citizens.

Just as long as you agree this decision should be made by Governors first or if Trump was to declare Martial Law the majority of Governors should support the decision.

I didn't agree or disagree with the decision, moron. Take off political blinders and read.

Maybe go learn how government works dipshit. Governors are having a national teleconference tomorrow. There may be more states that do the same thing.

Stfu. My opinion on the subject has nothing to do with how the government works.

It's up to local governments to make those decisions at this time moron. I posted several examples of how that works in this thread. Read left to right top to bottom. Idiot.

A totalitarian move that is nothing but a dry run. if successful with this, it’ll be used in the future under the guise of public safety. Get in line sheeple.

Don't vote for anyone that doesn't have a solid Pro 2A history.

Nashville business owners told the mayor to pound sand. Will wait for the Governor to say they have to close.

Hypothetically speaking, if this is just "the cold" like some on here are claiming, who benefits from the mass hysteria?

1. Closing public schools and pushing a more online home school system
2. Creating fear through next fall, resulting in lower voter turnout
3. Stock market down, wealthy buy in at low prices when prices soar back
4. Pointing out the lack of hospital beds, claiming this is what "universal health care" would look like

Whose talking points were these? Hmmm......

Just from his actions in this crisis, this Republican has my vote every time his name is on a ballot in my adopted State.

I’d rather my Governor be proactive and precautionary than reactionary and feckless.

I can honestly say, these are the first I have seen or read. I also think this is overblown, so please provide the WH link or even a Fox News story to back it up
