So sad to hear he could not recover from whatever brought him to critical condition. RIP Coach Leach.
RIP, Pirate. You will be missed.
I will always like him. He was one of a kind and always was fun to listen to. Really sad news
Leach had much to do with OU's resurrection as a member of the great staff that Stoops assembled in 1999.
My wife just shot me a txt. Mike Leach will be remembered fondly...RIP
Adopted every team he ever coached. Likable human being. Real and honest.
Always thought Leach would be an awesome replacement for Corso on Gameday. How much fun would that have been? So sad he is gone.
As much as I'd love it, Mike was a pirate in the real definition of the word. What made him unique imo. Mike was the polar opposite of a nut hugging network/cfb/conference blowhard.
Mike was his own man.
