Why not Bob? Bob as DC and Mike as DL coach. Bring Bill Bedenbaugh along as OL coach for good measure.

You guys are delusional if you think Bob Stoops is going to be take a DC job at UK under his brother. Mike probably could and he's done a crappy job as a DC for Bob Stoops and i'd rather not have Mike screaming like a moron on our sidelines.

Bo Peleni is the Stoops contact we should have tried to get as DC

I think sooner fans are starting to get tired of Bob and he would be a home run hire if his brother can lure him here. Mark and Bob being related has to help our chances of pulling it off.

What should happen never happens at Kentucky. Howard Schellenberger, Sean Payton, Bobby Petrino, etc. We all know how this season will play out. Stoops will eak out a 4 win season, Elliot will be this seasons fall guy and Mike Stoops will be billed as 2017's saving grace assuming Bob Stoops and Oklahoma do indeed part ways.

If Bob Stoops is let go at OU, much like Richt, he will have another high end P5 job within 72 hours. If none are available he waits until next year's jobs open up. He makes about $5.4M/yr and could probably live off his buy out compensation for a year.

Despite 3 consecutive winning seasons (2008-2010) Mike was let go mid-season at AZ in 2011 and picked up by his bro the next year as Assistant HC/DC.

I don't think there will be a family reunion in Lexington next year....or ever. [winking]

No way they fire bob unless he has a monumental bad season! They was in the football playoffs this past year. You don't go from there to the unemployment line without any big scandals.

The Stoops brothers are close. Plus who else is going to come to what more than likely will be a one season coaching stint.

Oklahoma football thinks like UK basketball. Just winning is not good enough they want championships.

Let me start by saying Bob Stoops isn't coming to UK. Let me finish by saying (in this fantasy land conversation) bring Bob Stoops to UK as the HC and make Mark the DC.
