two glaring areas stand out for this game -
rebounds - minn 48 - NU 29 (only +7 in 2nd chance points though)
3 pointers - minn 14/30 - NU 3-18 (+33 points)

otherwise pretty close:
FG - 30/62 to 24/62
FT - 9/15 to 6/13 (pretty close except for last few minutes)

assist: 19 to 16
steal: 3 to 2
turnerovers: 19-6

need 3 point shooters!

3 point shooters, and someone in addition to Boo who is a dribble drive threat to finish, or kick out for a 3.

Everybody complains about the offense they’re running, but guys have to makes some tough shots! Nobody is going to have sustained success running everything out of patterned sets all the time, you have to get stuff out of your motion, and have at least a couple guys who can dribble drive.

Here’s a not stat: teams with open looks make more shots.

And Minny surely got a lot of open looks tonight. Maryland did too. Our defensive intensity has gotten a lot worse.

I am not sure NU's defensive intensity has faded but other teams find the open man after a double team is initiated.

Jones worked pretty hard to recover after switching but Oturo is really good-a lot like Jalen Smith of UMD.

I think Beran and Nace could provide a semblance of what Oturo does if they worked closer to the basket rather than on the perimeter
