Seems like there were some kind of academic problems. He did transfer to that IMG Academy and maybe some credits got lost or something, but he appears to have met the NCAA requirements. At least, he meets SEC requirements (ie breathing).

So maybe he wouldn't have made it to Nebraska anyway.

I read he left NU for OSU.

Couldn't get into OSU, so he de-committed and went to ND, where he was a legacy recruit.

ND told him he needed to go to Holy Cross, a la Rudy, to eventually qualify.

He then leaves ND and, magically, gets eligible at an $EC school.
