If he’s not jumping off of one moving vehicle (train, helicopter, blazing speed SUV, etc.) to another (see 👈) at some point, I’m going to be PISSED.

I’ve loved these movies since the first one, even if they are ridiculous, predictable, etc. Sometimes it’s fun to just have fun at the movies.

If the cartoon-like zaniness and stupidity of the Fast series doesn't do it for ya, the MI series takes a slightly more serious approach with much better acting while still being a ton of fun. I know some miss Cruise's more dramatic roles but if the guy wants to break his bones while jumping off the back of a seagull into the ocean to retrieve a computer chip floating into the Mariana Trench for cinema, I'll support him and his dumbass missions as an elder vanilla midget. That beats him playing some boring uncle or something.

I have to catch up on the 1 or 2 most recent releases.. but I've liked pretty much all of the ones I've seen. Solid action/spy movies that we probably take for granted while reminiscing over the action movies of the 80's and 90s. Not long now before we will see 145lb Timothee Chalamet starring in action roles (Good actor otherwise, though)

An absolute classic. Cruise is insane. Movie is great!!

I have enjoyed all the MI's except the 2nd one. That one was more like some fighting Commando movie. Did not like it at all.
The rest have been excellent.

It has to be the end of the franchise right?

My son and I watched it today and we both really enjoyed it, except for one thing that's kinda sad, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Put me down as hoping Cruise makes 'em until he just can't.

Geez….this flick was awesome. Just went tonight. Awesome. That was about as much action you could jam into a single movie. Also had the sentimental side. And the throwback character was on *point*.

Great flick, period.

The reviews were pretty critical so I was worried about it. But I thought the movie was great.

What were they critical about? The montage scene and the way too long “everyone nod and grin at everyone else” scene were a little self aggrandizing, but I think they’ve earned it. Or shoot, just ignore it.

Sometimes I think critics get too far up their own butt for the sake of being edgy or finding fault….high horsey if you will…..to the point they whiff on a total action banger of a movie.
