Ole Miss and MissSt are both gonna be tough wins. I believe we play @Mississippi
All but 1 SEC team is a quad 1 game. There are no gimmes this year.
Saturday January 11 @ Miss State
Tuesday Feb 4 @ Ole Miss
LSU #58 and South Carolina #84 both are Quad 2 as well.

Depends on what night you play them, they struggled against Prairie Veiw and McNeese St.
The whole conference is gonna be tough. Literally every game is going to be tough. I’ve never seen a conference this stacked 1-16 before ever.
Miss St plays aggressive, hard defense. They will make it difficult for us to get open threes, so I think we will have to rely on Carr, Oweh and Butler getting to the rim. OTOH, Miss. St. is knocking down threes at a 50% rate against Memphis. This may be one of our losses this season having to play at their place.
MSU has really good defense. Memphis has 12 turnovers at the half and they all came off steals.
We have never experienced what we are about to experience. This is going to be a wild season.

It's amazing that 15 SEC teams are essentially top 60 teams.
Whoever wins the SEC tourney should be crowned national champion.

I think you can say this about every single SEC team this year. 12-6 might take home the regular season title.

The SEC I feel has always been slept on as a basketball conference. I don't know why that was but there's no denying it now. Without a doubt it's the best it's ever been. It's better than the Big East in their heyday. These tough games will only make us better come March. Of course, it makes the other conference teams better as well.
That’s what I came here to say. Find the best game every SEC team has played this year, and this will be the team we will play on the road this year.
If Pope hasn’t seen it yet, he will . You need at least 3 quick, fast guards that can shoot and stay in front of their man on defense. Miss St, A&M, Tn, Fla., etc all get these guys and we have paid for it over the past bunch of years with that idiot Cal. Guards win the NCAA and Cal didn’t give a **** about anything but getting guys to the NBA and our program suffered because of it. I could name 15 players that we could have had but because of Cal’s agenda they went elsewhere. Walter Clayton Jr was one of them. I will never forgive Cal for the damage he caused and I don’t want to hear from any of you Cal nut huggers. Pope gets a pass this year regardless of what happens and I am sure he will get us back on track. Go Cats!!!!

Cal was 15-0 against MSU in the regular season. They are the only SEC team that didn’t beat Cal in the regular season. They last beat us in the regular season in 2009.
This will be a tough early SEC test for the Cats and I won’t meltdown if we drop that one assuming we don’t lose by 40.
100% agree with OP. This is the 3rd time I’ve watched them play this year and I’ve felt that every time
