After seven games, the Tigers are allowing 218.8 ypg on the ground. That will probably rank somewhere between 105-110 nationally (once the weekly stats are updated by the NCAA). Yesterday, Missouri allowed 300 rush yards to the Blue Raiders on 41 carries (over 7 yards per carry). Exacerbating the Tigers rush defense issues are injuries to two key players, including their leading tackler. Not sure how severe those injuries are.
Just for comparisons sake, UK's rush offense ranked ahead of MTSU's heading into weekend action.
Speaking of UK, the Cats ran for 262 yards against Mississippi State. UK's season average on the ground is now up to 197. That should put them in the 45 range nationally.
GBB!!!
