Mitch gave Stoops a HUGE raise last year

At this point, it looks like the massive raise that Mitch gave to Stoops was premature at best. The multi-million dollar raise could result in a very expensive buyout. At what point does Mitch's seat get warm? I think Mitch deserves some deference as a result of basketball success, but I also don't think other SEC schools would tolerate Mitch's football failures.

Yeah. Should have used all the money pumped into the football program since Stoops got here, to build a new basketball arena where Commonwealth Stadium is. The football team can play at a local highschool team, since that's basically what they are.

I don't think anyone is arguing about improvements to the stadium. However, Mitch's big raise to Stoops last year could be a very expensive mistake.
