Used to see Mitch at quite a few games.

I changed seats so I don't know if he still goes or not.

He's been a bit busy. :p

Just curious Chappie - when, in your estimation, was American last great?

Oh that stupid slogan again.

Imagine if Obama had said that when he ran for the first time. The right would have wanted him charged with sedition or treason.

Mitch's reply was "reminds me of Ron Cooper's coaching"!

If the quote is true, it’s pretty telling. Mitch is not without influence within UL

Left or right, this country is, and always has been great in spite of what Cuomo said. Still it got pretty bad during the prior 16 years before President Trump.

President Trump is making better trade deals and a lot of those jobs that President Obama said were never coming back, are coming back because of it.

President Trump is a business man and not a polished charismatic speaking politician and he makes me cringe a lot with how brutal he sounds when he speaks, but I like the results thus far. The only thing I don't care for is the deficit which continues to spiral out of control in the wrong direction. As long as I live, I'll never forgive President Obama for spending more money that the first 43 Presidents did combined. IMO he really tried his best to bankrupt the country as he redistributed the wealth we enjoy to the rest of the world.

My first and LAST post in this thread. It's only my opinion and regardless what anyone else says, my mind is made up.

LOL - how are you pinning trump's campaign slogan maligning America's stature on DeBlasio? It really is like a damn cult...
Actually is was Cuomo. I made the edit. Again, I'm done with this. I know where you stand. You know where I stand.

I like winning.

Ok - I edited my question to reflect Cuomo and not DeBlasio but the question stands. Answering doesn't have anything to do with where you stand per se and, I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm just trying to understand how someone reacting to trump's slogan becomes the news and not the guy who is pushing the slogan maligning America.

As long as were throwing out random likes that have nothing to do with the subject at hand - I like filet mignon!

I'm pretty sure Make America Great Again is a slogan that's been used by many...

Reagan used it in the 80's...Clinton used it in the 90's...Cuomo...now Trump

Cue, back away from the right wing media you’ve been indoctrinated by. Remember, you’re entitled to your opinion, but not the truth. From Forbes magazine,

“Don't Blame Obama For Doubling The Federal Deficit”.

I saw that article and it just goes to show stats can be manipulated to bolster ones stance. Bottom line is Bush got pushed into a war because of 9-11-2001, and that cost money but he started the spending and Obama continued it.

The stats which support your stance are below from that very article. I voted for all these Presidents except for Obama. You can look at it anyway you wish, but even if you wish to take the numbers below as gospel, he still spent well over 8 trillion dollars in 8 years. The current President is on that same spending path too and I don't like it. Eventually the money dries up and when it does, the country is lost.

Reagan
  • Started Presidency: $965 billion
  • Ended Presidency: $2.74 trillion
  • Increased 184% or 13.9% per year
H.W. Bush
  • Started Presidency: $2.74 trillion
  • Ended Presidency: $4.23 trillion
  • Increased 54% or 11.5% per year (only in office for four years)
Clinton
  • Started Presidency: $4.23 trillion
  • Ended Presidency: $5.77 trillion
  • Increased 36% or 4.0% per year
W. Bush
  • Started Presidency: $5.77 trillion
  • Ended Presidency: $11.1 trillion
  • Increased 93% or 8.5% per year
Obama
  • Started Presidency: $11.1 trillion
  • Ended Presidency: $19.85 trillion
  • Increased 78% or 7.5% per year

Get the political crap out of the discussion. Mitch is a football fan like the rest of us. He is also a donor. I know the Lynn's and Redmans want Petrino gone also.
