Or hope he gets back to winning very soon, that's my hope!

Define winning. I don't think 6 and 6 type seasons are gonna do much for the fanbase. If he goes 8 and 4 or 9 and 3 that would excited the fanbase IMO. I guess it depends what level of winning he can achieve going forward.

I just think at this point it's time for new blood. Anyone that stays somewhere for going on close to 15 years is a long time. I am not even sure how much that happens anymore n major college football.

I don’t think we’re going to win very many games this year with our roster and depth so I’m watching for how our discipline and energy is on the field. It should be obvious to anyone the lack of discipline and effort we’ve seen the past couple of years but I’m going to be slightly optimistic and see if CMS has regained control of this team and locker room.

Today's news more than reinforces the fact mitch needs to go. Renewa with jmi who will now negotiate all uk nil deals and ensure school partners interests are protected.

So while other schools are looking for new ways to use nil, we're holding on to a way out of date past.

Good luck recruiting against other schools who have more nil and dont have an archaic approach.

Out of curiosity who replaces Mitch?

Who is the ideal candidate? What does their background and resume look like?

I mean it appears MB can’t win around here?

Dude just signed a deal worth damn near half a billion for UK! I understand there are some questions about all the fine details and that’s fair.

Im not sure folks fully understand what MB has done for UK and how small the pool of candidates who can do the job is.

Quarterback issues every year under stoops,he's a defensive minded coach who wants to play stall ball in the sec.He lacks the ability to change his football DNA.

The fact that stoops is making what he is when he’s never even sniffed a sec title should be enough to fire Mitch alone.

I think Mitch is somewhat tied to stoops at this juncture. If we have to move on from stoops at the end of the year then I think Mitch will want to be the one to head up the coaching search. He will want to see it through. I just see Mitch as that kind of Boy Scout.

But if stoops somehow gets back to a bowl this season then I can see Mitch retiring before having to replace his buddy.

Dewayne Peevy is the logical replacement. Yes, Mitch signed a big deal but he also gambled the entire athletic department on this. May turn out okay, May end up ruining UKs NIL and putting us too far behind to catch back up.

Mitch needs to retire immediately. Especially if Stoops is out, don’t need Mitch picking the next coach.
