That is crazy that they have Cherokee behind Andrews after they got destroyed by Brevard Friday and Cherokee won. Them maxpreps rankings can always be a little headscratching. No way we are the number 3 team in the state either, we are borderline top 10 at best at this point, we might could be a top 5 team later in the year if young guys step up and play to their potential.
That poll is a joke. No way Cherokee is a 37. Cherokee is going to have a very good season and I honestly don't see Andrews winning a game at this point.

This isn't a poll, it's rankings based on raw data, it's irrelevant to even look at it till at least 4-5 games have been played. The rankings right now are almost entirely based on last season's results.
I've always said the same thing about college football. Rankings shouldn't come out until fifth week or so but if they are going to put these things out they should pay attention to the wins and losses from last week.
