Mixing up the starting 5

I doubt this will happen, but I would be interested in seeing a starting 5 of:

BMac
Demps
Falzon
Skelly
Olah

I think we're going to need Skelly's size at the 4, and I don't see Falzon's current role in the offense as being much different than a traditional 3. It's also hard to ignore the spark that Skelly provided in the last few minutes vs Columbia.

I agree. And it could happen. Collins shows no fear of making changes to shake up the team. I wonder how Skelly's ankle is. He said in the post-game interview that it was fine but who knows.

So, the thought is to sit Lumpkin who is the team's #2 rebounder and #3 assist man (with no turnovers on the season)? I'll pass.

Yes Skelly should get more minutes but you can't alter what Lumpkin contributes. Especially with the selfless Vic Law out.

Two things have to happen with this team. First, they have to make shots from three at a higher rate. Tre and Scottie are at 25% for the year and that just doesn't cut it for a couple guys who like to hoist it up. Tap barely gets a pass at 33%. The team is above 33% on threes but my argument is to play in the post season they need to be excellent somewhere -- top 30 in the country -- and this is the mostly likely area.

Second, while defensive turnovers have been decent, steals have been almost nonexistent for a defense-oriented team that changed over the roster to length and athleticism. If you're going to get beat on the boards you have to find another way to steal some possessions back.

Okay, three. Shooting 64% from the charity stripe doesn't cut it. So many of the misses have been on the front end of bonuses late in the second half. Of the seven cats who have taken a free throw, five are shooting under 70%. There's 5-7 pts. per game to be found here by just being decent.

Sit him in favor of Lindsey and even Skelly, yes.
