No chance in hell we get that,is it possible we are too quick to give Duke a #1 seed? Let's say that UL gets them,UVA beats them and they get at least one other loss, there can be only so many one seeds out of the ACC

Gonzaga is likely going to end the regular season ranked #1, but I think their true ranking should be more like 5 or 6.

If this happens you can pencil dUKe in as our #2 seed. Book it!

Based on our tendency to draw the bracket of death, it's possible.

That being said, I think we're much more likely to see Duke in the final four or Championship game......that is, so long as Drexel isn't placed into Duke's bracket.

No way they put those other teams in the Duke division. We likely will get Villanova and they will place a team who gets hot at the end of the season in the 5 spot most likely.

Louisville has a lot of work to do before they're a 3 seed. They don't have a top 50 win against the RPI. For comparison's sake, Kentucky has five of them.

Poor Wisconsin. They play in a real conference, have one more loss than Gonzaga (who has beaten no one), and are screwed out of a 1 seed already.

Pretty much.

But you gotta know how the committee works. They're awful.

To be fair, looking at Wisconsin's schedule...it is not that much better than Gonzaga's OOC. They both had a really "good loss" to Duke and Arizona. Wisconsin has beat OU (who had an awful loss to KSU the other day), Georgetown and Marquette OOC.

That is really no better than Gonzaga's SMU, St. John's, Georgia, etc.

I still definitely believe Wisconsin is the much better team though, all that said.

I think Wisconsin is better too, but they play in a tougher conference, so they're likely to drop another one. Gonzaga needs to slip up and lose a couple because, again, the committee LOVES location.

Yeah, Wisconsin has not even played any of the "good" teams in the Big 10 yet. That said, I'm not sure how good the opposition is, but Michigan State is getting better (other than that bizarre loss to TX Southern they have lost to all pretty good teams), IU is better than I thought, OSU is overrated still I believe, Michigan is doing "better" LOL, and of course Maryland. I am amused that Pitino JR is 0-fer in the Big Ten so far.

This year there will be some very beatable 2 seeds. Maybe even a couple of 1s. If Gonzaga gets a 1, and I believe they will unless they have 2 more losses or lose late, they could be out quickly. First 1 seed to fall? Doubt it but better potential 1 seeds have struggled that first game.

They should take the top 64 teams they deem fit to be in the tournament, assign them each a number 1-64 and draw out 2 at a time. Then run with the bracket as usual. It doesn't matter how you place the teams, somebody is getting screwed. IMO Kentucky will have the hardest bracket.
