How come it took Mike Stoops 2 years to get Caleb Kelly ("the most versatile player defensive coordinator Mike Stoops boasts") in a position to be on the field every play?
I actually laughed out loud when I read that too. How does Mike think that statement makes him look? LMAO.

Jack In Box cannot be trusted with a high school team...much much less than the Sooners. You keep one of your best defensive players off field why? Oh because your defensive schemes are flat out complicated and suck. He has been told that by lots of people...but never listens.
Besides Okoronkwo the sole saving grace in the Rose Bowl on the D side was Kelly's forced fumble. Otherwise it was face palmpalooza watching Michel and Chubb run with impunity. And to think Mikey's calling card has always been to stop the run first...dude is out of cards.
Some might recall the discussions on here with Georgia fans before the Rose Bowl last year. They were correct in identifying our DL as being very undersized. It looks like size won't be the issue this year.

That's a 303lb average. We're getting into OL sizes at that point. If Mike finally starts running a real 4-3, he won't have anything to blame on run support except himself. Maybe that's why he's scared to run a 4-3.
