Did you have Moon Boots back in the 70s or 80s? I really believe those were the best for snow. So light and warm. I still have mine. But, they are far more expensive now.

I can't do the full worded gif because someone would probably report it.. but I said what I said.
You don't seem to understand that Napoleon Dynamite wore Moon boots?I am sure this is an iconic moment in TV or film that every cool kid should know. Of course, that does not help me.

If you google this scene from the show "Community", it's pretty funny.
My sister and her girlfriends all wore them.
Napoleon Dynamite is one of my favorite cult classics.

Yep. In the Army they came in black and white and where nicknamed "Mickey Mouse Boots". Pictured below, my unit from Ft. Campbell winter training in Fairbanks Alaska in the early 80's doing a road march. Weather there got -40° with a wind chill factor up to a -100° when helicopters came in to pick us up.![]()
We used these for ice fishing and such. Match these with thick wool socks and a snow suit.....and you will be ridiculously warm.
Must’ve been the Moon Boots!

Your mom goes to college.Again, must’ve been the Moon Boots.
In a word: NO
I never wore moon boots, and I threw snowballs (with rocks in them) at those that did.
