Serious question. What instruments does he play?

The same instruments Tupac, Kendrick Lamar, Notorious B.I.G., Eric B. and Rakim, and the N.W.A. all played. And no, it wasn't your loose butthole.

It's this kerrrazy thing called rap or hip hop music. I thought everyone got filled in about this years ago when they came out with Rap: The Musical

Here's a link to the Wikipedia article for some learning, have fun: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hip_hop_music

Ignored. You just don't get to say completely dumb**** **** like this and not get ignored.

Damn, FusterCluck. I thought we were bros?

But yeah, you all keep up the good work of stealing dumbed down Facebook memes shared by soccer moms and posting 'em here as your own like this idiotic thread.

Since you didn't actually answer the question, I will. They all play their voice and Kanye's manipulation of his instrument is on par with Kurt Cobain's guitar playing. Garbage. You can't teach me ish about rap. I've been listening to rap since Kurtis Blow dropped. The only way you would know if my butthole is loose is if you've been on it. Maybe you need more than a thumb sticking out below your belt.

The only way you'd know I have a thumb penis is if I admitted it. Which..

No wait!!! I didn't mean it like that!!!

Sorry guys, you're not changing my mind. I'll take Kanye's MBDTF in a slight edge over Purple Rain. Kanye's catalog is pretty much unmatched in hip hop. I enjoy his music more than Prince.

Kayne might be the biggest POS I have ever witnessed in my 38 years of life. Jimmy Kimmel put up one of his tweets, on the show, from a few months back that said simply.........

BILL COSBY INNOCENT!!!!!!!!

He will probably live to be a hundred.

Yeah, we lose a lot of great celebs yet get stuck with this piece of **** and his piece of **** family.

Kanye and the Kardashian/Jenner trash are the absolute worst. It would be a day of celebration to see all of them die. I know it's awful to say but they are a total plague on society.

The thing is he's just trolling, and people don't understand that, and it just boosts his ego because mf'ers actually believe and hang on every word he says....not much different than the eminem stuff, only difference is Kanye embraced it and manipulated the media for the sake of $$$$$.

There is ridiculousness in that statement, partly because on top of being talented enough to pick up just about any instrument and play it fluently, Princes ability to manipulate his voice and express a particular mood or moment within a song was pretty amazing, his vocal range was off the charts, not something you get from the nonsense Kanye spews. Plus I would put Princes dance moves in his prime against Kanye any day, Prince was on par with Michael Jackson in some respects regarding his dance moves.

Kanye sucks

Well sir, I go back further than that if we are throwing out the street cred / hip hop card. Uh hum, (clears throat), if you listened to Kurtis Blow, then your butthole IS loose. He was garbage. I can tell you **** about hip hop, so breath in and let your chest go back in. I mean Kayne is not nearly in my elite level, but to say he is garbage only to circle back and name drop Kurtis Blow,,, Kurtis freaking Blow. Let me guess, you still play "B-a-s-k-e-t-b-a-l-l" before every UK game.

Done Deal, Eric B did play a instrument. Check yo self fool. Eric B is president.

It is possible that Kanye can be a great musician (in the vein of hip-hop) and still be an absolute dumpster of a human being. Dude's first 3 albums were classics, and all his other ones were at least decent.. he's also a terrible human being. I thought everyone knew that? It's pretty hard to argue against either point.

This is true. Just keeping his name out there. Bad publicity is better than no publicity.

Was I talking to you? No. Kurtis Blow was only used as a reference to the time period.

I can name Prince songs, have heard and enjoyed many in my lifetime. I can name Kurt Cobain songs, again, I have listened to and enjoyed many in my lifetime. But I just went through a list of Kanye West's 20 biggest hits, and can honestly say I couldn't name a one of them before I saw the list, even if my life depended on it; had actually heard maybe two of them in my lifetime; and enjoyed neither.

I know this is 'old school' but to actually label yourself as a 'musician', shouldn't you actually be able to do something musically? And I don't mean use a computer to splice together other musicians creativity and talent. While not a huge fan of Prince, I greatly respect the talent he possessed: dancing, showmanship, singing and playing a variety of musical instruments on par with (or better than in many cases) professional musicians who have concentrated on one or only a couple of instruments. Wildly talented guy. Why Kanye is even mentioned as being somewhat comparable to Prince is beyond me.

Full disclosure: I hate rap/hip-hop and don't consider much/any of it as music. I find very little to admire about the entire genre. I also hate just about all forms of metal music but I do find that many of the instrumentalists are very good technically and I admire that talent.

^ that's what the old jazz bands said to guys using electronic nonsense like electric guitars and amplified voices. Don't even get me started on Jimmy Page and all his wild recording techniques that added depth and originality to Led Zeppelin's (stolen) song catalog. What's next, an electronic piano? And Handel? More like Sample, am I right? Taking others work and rearranging it does not a composer make, sir.

Hot take: both are talented. No need to tear one down to build the other up.
