The problem with this article is that in Vegas NU is the favorite! For example, Draft Kings has the'Cats at minus 1.5. The other Big Ten teams that play today actually are underdogs, including Illinois, Maryland, and Iowa. I continue to believe that we win by double digits. Go 'Cats!

The Big Ten this year is the equivalent of a balanced wrestling team that has a lot of above-average wrestlers, but few stars. This serves them well during the regular season, but probably is not a formula for tournament success. I don't look for the B1G to have a good tourney due to the seedings, which of course will add to the constant "Big Ten is weak" narrative we hear over the years.
