Huge logistical undertaking.
When do coaches have time to spend with the players & their families on "official visits" and then those on unofficial visits?

Friday early afternoon? Very early Saturday AM breakfast?

I would think the focus of the Coordinators on Friday & Saturday would be meeting with the team and final reviews of the gameplan.

Anyone with some insight into how this works and doesn't interfere with team activities?

Why wouldn't you bring recruits to a game like this? The recruits usually get to be on the field pre-game and coaches come over and talk to them. There is also a lounge in the stadium somewhere they are permitted in where I am guessing coaches can come in and chat while team is prepping to take the field. Then they get to sit behind the PSU bench during the game, then post game they get to go in the field again which is another oppty to talk to coaches. No idea what happens on day before and day of since the team won't get to the stadium until 2 hours before kickoff.

Remember when Penn State had some highly rated kids lined up to come to the Ohio State whiteout game in ‘05, then Joe cancelled them all during the game week? People were up in arms!

Glad they are coming but sounds like a logistical nightmare.

We know the atmosphere will be fantastic......but we need to win this one (hopefully in an impressive manner).

Hierarchy of what 5* and 4* players look for in a school...

1. NIL
2. Developing me into a high NFL draft pick with game stats to back it up
3. National Championship contender based on past appearances (last 5 years)
4. Playoff appearances (last 5 years)
5. Relationship with coaches
6. Proximity to home for family to attend games
7. Relationship with other recruits and players on the team
20. Chance to turn a once national championship powerhouse program into a modern national championship team even though they haven't been one in over 30 years...

Hopefully, we end up having a lot of #1... ;-)

It is well known no elite QB or WR will want to play for Penn State
