he did sustain a knee injury (torn MCL?? I Believe) - but he has requested to play and most likely be given the opportunity too at last report

I really don't see Tuberville being a candidate to replace Stoops after his lame duck year.
Would be nice if Kiel is a 5th year transfer. Would definitely take him. UKani did mention that the new OC apparently wants to bring in a 5th year transfer or a JUCO QB. Have to feel that with Kiel being immediately eligible to transfer, and Gran being the recruiter that he is, well. Has to be pretty easy to recruit a guy that you've coached for a while already.
Gunner Kiel did not make the Hawaii trip because he's dealing with a "personal issue." This situation needs to be well vetted.
Could mean a few things. Not sure until down the road, but if Gran does come here, would that mean that Kiel will follow him and both have informed Tuberville already? I'm not sure. On the other hand, it could actually be a personal issue.
Pulling for him, a good rushing attack helps but he was on a string of 160 passes without an interception when he was injured. I always liked him even though he didn't have great stats here, lots of reasons for that. He had a very good game against TU at the end of his career here, and was never really healthy.
This will be the most scrutinized, picked apart play calling in the history of UC Bearcat football.
