1st two batters sing for the Vols to open the 9th.Another single to left, bases loaded and no outs. MSU going to the pen for a new arm.
And Missouri beat Iowa 17 to 16 and had 24 hits in an 11 inning game. Maybe the Tigers found their offense in Lexington?
Whoa, we had a bizzare circumstance Vols hitter grounds to 2nd MSU tries for the DP and both runners were called out, although neither appeared to be. UT coach goes crazy and chews out all 4 umpires, meanwhile both dugouts empty and we have a near brawl.
Meanwhile the runner on 3rd score to make it 4-2, MSU walks the next batter to put runners at the corners. The eagle pitcher then walks the bases full.
MSU pitcher K's the UT batter for the final out, Eagles win 4-2. Meanwhile, both the Vols HC and 1st base coach were ejected during the melee ..... WILD !
