Not a Duke or sports question, but I got this one about a week ago. It snowed here, so when I got to work, I took a picture of the parking lot and sent it to my wife. She answers back, “is it snowing?” I said “nope, I guesss this stuff just rose up from the ground?”.......True story

I work part time at one of our local lakes . It is for fishing only.Whenever it rains heavy over a period of time and we get 4 or 5 inches of rain the lake level rises and becomes very muddy to the point it looks like chocolate milk . Now take in the fact that the people that come to the lake are very good fisherman but it never fails that the phone begins to ring off the hook and the question we get " is the lake muddy ? " OFC

I lived in Atlanta when the remnants of Hurricane Katrina went through Georgia. At my work we could see several funnel clouds. Everyone started asking me a bunch of questions like I was an expert on tornadoes. I think I’ve never been more sarcastic than I was that day.

My dad is always asking me what I’m doing when he comes in my room even though he can clearly see that I’m watching tv. He also regularly asks me if I’m awake when he comes in my room when he can clearly see that I’m awake. lol

When I was in my 20’s , I had to climb a 40 ‘ service pole, with hooks. It was right in the parking lot of a service station. My hooks cut out at the top and I fell and landed in the parking lot in a pile. This fella ran over to me and said “ are you hurt?” I looked at him and said, here’s your sign.

I can sympathize with you because my Dad didn’t know anything when I was younger but lord that man learned a lot after I moved out and started paying my own bills

I grew up in Alaska and a lot of people have asked me, “Did you live in an igloo?”

@FearTheBeard - I didn’t know you lived in Kansas. Mind saying where? I’m in Winfield - and I know EXACTLY what you mean about the tornadoes lol. @spike05rk haha....I’m talking to you!!! :D:D:D:D:cool::cool::cool::cool:
I lived in Overland Park for most of my childhood and then Lawrence for most of my 20s. Most of my family and wife’s family are in Overland Park, Lawrence, and Topeka. My dad grew up in Woodbine then Junction City. I was born in Manhattan but I didn’t live there very long. I have some extended relatives in Salina.

I don’t think I’ve been to Winfield. Looks like a suburb of Wichita. I’ve had some fun in Wichita! I thought you lived in the northeast for some reason.
