I was also going to say no porn sites on the list makes it a poor list. Whether you view it or not, internet porn is a major use of the internet. It killed Playboy and probably many other porn magazines.
I’d put it slightly behind the wheel in a list of the greatest inventions in history...

It was like Facebook if Facebook was raised in a trailer park or on the set of a rap video.
And widely accessible broadband was the game-changer for Internet porn. Magazines were still more efficient in the 56k AOL era. Nothing worse than waiting four minutes and the file was only at her shoulders. I don't even want to think about the rage when trying to watch a video online 20 years ago.
