That's pretty crazy. Wouldn't have guessed UGA would be last. Tennessee will likely pass us this year. They will have at least one 1st round pick.
I get tirwd ofnsaying it wvry year. There is no valid reason why UK cant be or hasnt been a solid, perennial Top 25 baseball program. I know about the lack of support. I remember going to Coach Madison's camps every summer. I remember the story about asking CM Newton for $ for lights and he was told hed have to go raise it himself. Youre just not going to convince me we dont have the resources, good enough in state talent, and the $ to go out of state to recruit, to make this thing what it can and should be. Lord knows its no longer a facilities issue.
And with the Legends hanging on a knifes edge right now with the whole MiLB restructuring, UK has a real opportunity to help monetize UK baseball for many displaced fans of the Legends. Why not advertise and treat it like a de facto minor league team?
Im surprised Arkansas had more picks than LSU. I would have guessed Missouri being last. Georgia being last is pretty shocking actually.
