These kids goal is to make it to the NBA.......why not move it back to there? Let’s see who can hit an NBA 3 and who can’t?

I would probably prefer it doesn’t move, but if it does, I say NBA

I see no benefit to leaving it as is. Move it back, would hopefully open up the lane more.

I have no strong feelings on the matter. It would help protect JJ Redick’s ACC record. The only two guys ahead of him played at Oakland and Wofford, so do those even count?

Yes please.. way too many 3s in today’s game.

That's the thing... I don't think that would reduce them that much. Probably a bit at first but in a year or two--maybe less--it'd be back to what it is now. I could be wrong.

I do like the idea of it freeing up the lane a bit more for our guards and wings.

I don't like the idea of the floor/coverage area being extended for our "vaunted" overplay defense.

I don’t mind 3pt shooters taking a lot of 3s.. I have a problem with non 3pt shooters taking a lot of 3s.. I think pushing the line back will reduce the number of 3s taken by non 3pt shooters..

And yea, freeing up the lane some will be good too.

Moving it back won’t decrease attempts, not notably anyway. Basketball at both the NBA and college level has became more 3PT heavy than ever... Adding like 2 feet of distance won’t change it.

I’m not against it though, I really could careless.
