What a snooze fest. Insane they are playing the same team, two years in a row. Very disappointed.
This game may set football back 100 years. I’m looking forward to it.

Start the year with Iowa, end the year with Iowa.
This is garbage. Wow, I was actually thinking about going but a repeat opponent? If Levis doesn’t play it will be a massive struggle fest on offense for both sides. I can’t imagine playing Iowa AGAIN is going to help in that regard.

Well that’s about the most boring outcome imaginable. Cant believe the bowl people would even want this rematch.
was hoping we got to play a big 12 or pac teamNever thought I'd ever be disappointed to see UK in a bowl game but this is just no buys from me. Was hoping we'd get a different/more exciting opponent. Hell, I'd rather just go up against Western KY or something.
Not interested in this game at all if that is what it is. Would rather watch us crush UL in basketball (probably will end up a closer one with Cal coaching). Would be nice if we could argue our way to a different game like UT did.

No offense to our Hawkeye friends like @rucker4 but I don’t like having a repeat opponent…. And I’m sure many of them feel the same way.
We beat Florida and they go to Vegas. We beat Missouri and they go to Florida. We beat Miss St and they also go to Florida. We get stuck going to one of the northern most bowls that we've been to numerous times and have a rematch against Iowa from last year's bowl game. We also play on the same day as our rivalry game in a sport we care about. Thanks SEC.
We won’t score on Iowa and they literally play like ten white guys on defense.
Really hard to believe they would have you guys playing same team 2 years in a row. Hard for fans of either team to get excited.

I think we still have a shot without Levis. But if CRod AND Levis sit out, we’ll be lucky to break 150 yards on offense and score more than 3 points .Guess we’ve seen the last of levis
“Fault” may be strong…..but there probably is some truth to this line of thinking from the bowl committee
Really wanted the Gasparilla Bowl even though it’s lower in the pecking order. Mizzou will be playing in primetime with literally nothing else on TV the Friday before Christmas. So dumb. Maybe we are trying to hide on New Years’ Eve. Lost in the shuffle.
Help me out here...what's this talk about UK dodging Vegas because of some type of recruiting weekend? Used to be bowl time was a quiet recruiting time, is that no more? Would appreciate an explanation. TIA.
Tbh was thinking the same. If Will and CRod are out, could see MB pulling something like this and keep the game close to home so fans don’t have travel far for the snooze fest.
They've moved that to be played outdoors at the MCB at half time. All it's worth.
The Vegas bowl is scheduled for the 17th which is two days before the quiet period begins.
Basketball at noon and football at 1. So no chance to go to both or go to one and watch the other. Also can't watch both in their entirety unless you record it.
