True story. I'm probably the biggest non-Asian, white, male, fan of Boyz II Men around. I called Disc Jockey in Lexington Green the day this song came out on CD single to have them hold a copy for me. Grungy dude said "yeah, I don't think I'll need to do that." Apparently I overestimated their popularity to the rest of Lexington.

Another 311 fan!!! Transistor is awesome from beginning to end. My low key favorite is The Continuous Life. Driving back to Louisville from visiting my folks in London I would smoke a pinner joint and put this CD in for 2 or 3 years once I hit Lexington. Kill an hour quickly.

Weird and no accounting for different tastes but I've always consider thenlate 90s the beginning of the musical desert we've wandered into. There are exceptions of course but generally, awful.

This Black Crowes tune was on the Band album that was scheduled for release in 1997 but the entire album was ditched. It was later released on the Lost Crowes double album in 2006…but i include it here because Another Roadside Tragedy is a great tune that should have been released in 1997.

I'm willing to admit that I refused to listen to Jamiroqui because I considered it adult contemporary euro trash. I heard some of their newer stuff on Pandora without realizing who it was and have been won over. Unique and damn good.

Would rather hear music from 1977 (excluding the disco crap). Clapton, ELO, Bowie, Queen, Skynyrd, Talking Heads, AC/DC, The Clash, Neil Young, Marvin Gaye, Jackson Browne, Meat Loaf, Steve Miller Band, Iggy Pop, Sex Pistols, Ted Nugent, Rod Stewart, Marshall Tucker Band, Earth, Wind and Fire, etc. all had hits that year.
