Hopefully Willie doesn't sue me for this. I actually filled out every match of every bracket with bonus points. Whoever made this spreadsheet is awesome! I will admit that I concentrated more on bonus points for the top contending teams. Anyway, I figured I would share.

I open this expecting to rip apart your picks but they appear well thought out , the only point I have is if Zach’s shoulders are as bad as I have read I will be surprised he makes it through two matches.

Both of the above predictions look very realistic. Yet, despite a record six champions, and likely another team points record, I find myself anticipating feeling bad for our two guys that were THAT CLOSE!

I spent more time on these than I'd like to admit. I follow things as close as I can throughout the season, but, I can't see all of it. I used wrestling comparison on WrestleStat. That site might not be good for seeding important tournaments, but, it is an incredible reference for us as fans.

It is a foregone conclusion that most PSU fans will focus on those who do not reach their dream. We feel great for the victors, but, think most about those who come up just short. This is called negativity bias. Negativity bias causes amplified emotional responses to negative events compared to positive events of equal magnitude.

Is it?

I would consider believing your conclusion, if you can show that right after the 2018 NCAA tournament, there were more mentions of Shakur Rasheed* on BWI than there were of Bo Nickal.

* or any other non-champion PSU wrestler from that year.

So if I understand right, does this mean that I get slightly more upset with my 401k DEcreasing versus the short ‘high’ I get with my 401k INcreasing?

Of course not, right after.

During, different story. Though fan reactions are usually a lot more negative during B10s than during NCAAs.
