Man OPie, you're having a rough go at life lately. Hope things get better for you and for your dad. That's terrible.
I appreciate it. He's on a breathing machine. Still non responsive. Can't stop crying seeing him like this. I'm praying like I've never have before.
He's still unresponsive and they can't find out what's wrong. A machine is breathing for him. I'm scared to death he won't make it. I've been accused of lying about these things so I'll post a picture tomorrow proving it, if he's still around.
Yeah they gave my mom a month to live a yesterday. Tumor is back in brain so not much they can do anymore. Nobody wants to bury a parent. Prayers for you and yours.
Sorry to hear man, truly. Prayers your way. I lost my biological mom to cancer in 2017 and it destroyed me. Watching them wither away is the worst. Do sorry brother.
Just found out he's septic and has pneumonia so at least they know what they're dealing with now.
The spots they thought were pneumonia have turned out to be lung cancer. Now it's looking like he's never leaving the hospital. Bout to go mental man.
I know it’s overwhelming but please try to remember there are a bunch of us praying for you and want to help you. I know it's the worst thing in the world only be able to sit and watch as someone you love suffers. My and my families thought are with you. Try to hang in there.
Been told my multiple physicians it'll take a miracle to pull through. They've now confirmed he has MRSA. Still hasn't so much as moved. I've been apologizing for everything I've done wrong. I was a drug addicted POS when I got home from my final deployment. Him being a two tour Nam veteran. For two years he tried to help me quit and he finally got through to me. I tell him to fight cause he's a damn warrior. He got ran over by a tractor not the most recent November but the one before. He nearly died but was out bush hogging 200 acre fields by that May. Hand to God he's had over 30 surgeries, mostly on his back. He lost his spleen in 94 and survived two different COVID variants and the flu just this last November. He truly is the best man I've ever met. Most 39 year olds I know have lost one or both parents. Man if anyone and I mean anyone who would pray for him it would mean the world to me, as he truly is in God's hands at this point.

I’m sorry to hear about your dad man. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and turn to alcohol to help you deal with all the stress and anxiety.
I hope his condition improves, I know the pain of losing ones Dad. I still feel lost without him.

My dad finally opened his eyes today. He can't speak but recognized me. I asked him if I was my brother squeeze me hand. He didn't. I asked him if my name was Michael squeeze my hand. Tears welled up in his eyes and he slightly squeezed. I broke down crying in front of nurses and family. I've literally spent the last 9 days by his side from 9-9, visiting hours. So if I've been aggressive towards anyone I'm truly sorry. He's been the one person that's had my back right or wrong. Before Mom passed in 2017 she told me when he found out he was having me he immediately gave up a 30 year blackout drunk routine and a 30 smoking habit cold turkey on both. I asked why he drank and she told me Vietnam and his best friend being killed while he was on R&R. Said he's the only b nice drunk she's ever met and he's as polite a man as there is sober. He only gave me 3 rules growing up. Play football and basketball all the way through school. Graduate. And either college or military. Sorry I'm getting lost on his character.

Having that disappear in one second was undescribable. Please guys, I love all you and you're all my brothers.

"I had a philosophy professor in college that found out he had a brain tumor. They gave him 6m to live. If he had surgery to remove it, he had a 25% chance of surviving the surgery, but still only 6m more to live if he survived the surgery.
The docs were shocked when he opted not to have it and instead get his affairs in order for and spend quality time with his family. He did just that. One day his wife brought him a cupcake with a candle in it. It had been 1 year since he was given 6m to live.
When I met him it had been 12 years, and he taught at the college for many years after I graduated. Never getting chemo or surgery. He just changed his lifestyle and his focus. He was the only PHIL prof I ever met that believed in God and tried to incorporate Him in his work and writing."

For those who've given themselves to God and His son, there is no such thing as a death sentence. There is only peace and life thereafter. For such the spirit is stronger than the flesh and drives it. It far surpasses scientific understanding. Trust in Him and the gift of His faithful son.
