My concern about many UK fans (UK-Ark)

I think the concern is based on reality. Calipari has a trend of losing the games you think he will win but somehow wins stupidly ridiculous road games against top teams before sucking again. You really hope we don’t drop this one. I feel we will win but I’d be lying if I didn’t say it won’t be a butt puckering type of game for me

It scares me because Cal’s teams always manage to pull one out that they shouldn’t. who’s it gonna be? It’s like Arkansas roulette.

Not going to happen, I expect a close game early but we pull away in the second half. It is a Big Game but we have beat UL, The Cooper Flagg’s already. This is Arkansas Super Bowl and I think we should give every Arkansas player, media and fans that attend a T-shirt. Maybe they all get a Perdue Chicken Sandwich or T-shirt. IMO

All the pressure is going to be on the Cats anyway imo. Heard Cal say ( if you can believe anything out of his mouth) that their game plan yesterday was to have 60 drives into the lane . He said the goal was to get fouled . He was lamenting that they didn’t get the foul calls they should have.
They have some elite rim drivers on that team . If the referees bail them out on fouls they will be hard to stop . Fortunately they have terrible communication and regularly lose their man on defense. Barring a terrible shooting night, I believe our offense will be too much for them .

I think we should get the Tyson Chicken man to be the “Y” for this game . He’s done more for Kentucky basketball than anyone in the last 5 years!

I won't be any more upset if we lose to Arkansas just because Cal's the coach than I would be at losing to this bad of an Arkansas team coached by someone else. It's quite clear which program is having the better year and has the better coach at this point. One game doesn't change that or do anything to improve Arkansas prospects going forward. This season for them is a spectacular failure at this point regardless of what happens on Feb 1.

My concern with Arkansas is that they might accidentally become a more cohesive unit with Fland out, forcing Davis to finally step up.

But as for now, we have bigger fish to fry. I’m more concerned about going on the road for a Volunteer State double dip than I am about Arky.

If that was to happen, it would be frustrating. But would not take away from all the great things Pope has started here! Hope he continues building piece by piece.

I guess FWIW the next two games for them are at home vs Georgia and Oklahoma. They will probably be slight favorites in each.

I mean sure if we lost to Arkansas at home that would be 1) a bad loss and 2) fans would overreact. But we do that after every loss lol. No reason to be concerned about that lol. Then all would be fine again the next game when we go to Miss and win. It's just how it is here.

IDK, this Arkansas situation just feels different. I thought he would beat Florida, or sneak out of Mizzou with a win, but this Arkansas team just looks so disconnected and there is no Antonio Reeves that makes huge play after huge play.

And now, Fland might be out with a hand injury.

Have you seen how bad Arkansas really is as a team? Just really bad.

OSU and Clemson would wipe the court with them.

I have zero concern about that game. My concern is about defending the better offenses in the SEC. Arkansas isn't even close to being one of those offenses.

Pope is going to chew up Calipari and walk away perfectly calm and collected.

There will be no pressure on our players. None of them (outside Perry and Noah) know or care about Cal. It's another game for them.

Pope has a little pressure (because the fan base wants it so much). Even if he loses, we'll be disappointed, but nobody is putting for sale signs in his yard.

I’m good.
I’m actually more concerned about the many on this board who are obsessed with Cal, who’ve had that game on their calendars since summer.

Fair, if Kentucky does lose, that will be a night I stay completely away from here maybe even the whole weekend

My only concern is getting healthy and contending for the conference title. Arkansas is just another game we should win and need to win. If they were off to a great start in conference i might feel differently.

Oh, I think the entire BBN is nervous/anxious about the game if everyone is being honest. It's one of those you just win and get the hell out of there, similar to the Louisville games when they suck and UK is good. A win is "you should have won" and a loss is "code red never recover from this."

You really think our current players don't recognize the significance of Calipari and his Hogs returning to Rupp?! I say no chance, and that's likely an incredibly naive view of things. No offense, truly. These guys are on social media, they watch ESPN, they know. And they will be told if they haven't already by their NIL partners, booster, fellow students ... they know.
