So my wife has had training in Greensboro all last week and this week so today I decided to go to campus and spend the day. On the way there I prayed I could run into Grayson. I get to campus and park and look around the store and go to Cameron hoping to get inside but the doors are locked so I went into the hall of fame. It's completely empty and after a few minutes I hear a door open and then someone pop a bubble and I turn around and it was Matt! We talk for a little while and I get a picture with him and he tells me they're having practice in a little while. So as I'm just smiling from the experience while looking around something gets me to look outside and I see Grayson. So I go down there and he's with White and one of the walk-ons(not sure which) and I ask for a picture and Grayson says yes so I go over and the other two move out of the way and I said no guys y'all too and they both start smiling from ear to ear. After that I shook their hands and told them God bless and they just seemed excited and said that means a lot! Now I'm really pumped so I go back to the hall of fame and look outside and here comes Jeter and Luke and when they get inside we talk and I get a picture and chase flashes a big peace sign and Luke starts just cracking up. Next Obi comes in and we take a picture and he was extremely polite. After that I decide to just sit outside and next Harry comes around the corner and I ask him and he smiles and nods his head and flashes his famous grin which I swear makes him look like the happiest guy on earth. We shake hands and he's VERY friendly. Next Bolden shows up and I miss delaurier as I talk to Bolden and get a picture. Lastly Tatum and frank show up(running late I'm pretty sure) they were the least talkative but seemed to be in a hurry. All in all as a Duke fan I couldn't of asked for a better day. It really got me thinking about our current team and how mad and angry we can get and negative (especially me) but in reality this is a group of kids and really good kids at that. I mean they all took the time to be friendly and take a picture with a short 26 year old that hasn't shaved his beard in months haha! But I'm proud to be a blue devil and proud of the guys we have representing US!
