I attended my first last week (Long Beach) and the general parking lots opened 2 hours before game time.. $10. We got there 3 hours early so we went to the team store in the Bryan center where we paid $2 to park for an hour before going to the general parking lot. We then went to the museum which is right beside CIS. I'd definitely recommend you go there. Have fun!

Not a Duke fan, but I'd love to see a UNC/Duke game there sooner than later. When I lived in the triangle, I was too broke for it. I'm in the DC Metro area now, so getting there isn't as simple.

Maybe this year or next. Any of you guys make it regularly?

I've been to a few games. I always tried to be there early to lower the stress of traffic and parking. Plus, it's never a bad idea to allow some time to explore. Hope you have a great time, don't know how you couldn't.

How far did you have to walk to get it CIS?

OP, you can park for free on the streets off East Campus and ride the bus over to West Campus. About a 5-10 minute ride depending on whether or not the bus has to go through Central. From the bus stop on West, it's about a 5 minute walk to Cameron. I've gone this route every time I've been back to a game since I was a student. Great way to see both campuses and save some money.

Hope you enjoy the game! And afterwards, get a burrito at Cosmic Cantina on 9th Street.

I used to do the same thing. They've got that place on lock down now. I'd just park in the parking garage and head to Cameron. They got security manning that entrance now which has forced me to make the mile walk. I usually have a nice cocktail mixed for that walk though so it's not bad.
