"eight men out", so to speak. Last I heard it was like 5, anyone have a (free) list?

oops not free

a couple are non-scholarship players I think. At least one was a name I never heard of.

The only two that feel like real losses are TeRah Edwards (gone to Illinois, never really understood how he gets time as a freshman in a top 5 defense and then nothing this year in a crap defense) and Garner Hollis who has something like 4 years of eligibility and has nice size. Maybe Jaylen Rivers, but the rest of them seem like addition by subtraction (in terms of opening up scholarships for players that might contribute).

The Pitt guy seems to be a better pickup than anyone we lost, at least in terms of floor. Now we need about a dozen more of them at the positions of need.

Thanks Lou. Any reason why he is not enrolling in January so that he can fully participate in Spring Practice?
It think it was just timing. Winter quarter starts on Jan. 3. That's just a few weeks away. He couldn't in for January, so March is the next best thing.

The part about leaving Pitt mid-season is a little weird. I'm optimistic about the guy, but it seems like something within that team caused somebody who was playing and had started games to leave the team during a winning season.

I hope Cantin-Arku, or another good LB follows his lead here.

I think you're confusing him with Jordan Butler. TeRah barely sniffed the field as a freshman, while his classmate Butler was solidly in the rotation, but rarely saw the field last year under JON.

Would love to get Cantin-Arku as well. He makes no mention of the Cats though. Could that be a good thing? 🤷‍♂️
