Name things that are not postponed in America that should be?

They have inexplicably not yet canceled my middle sons pre-school as it is via church and not part of the state ruling.

However, there is nothing cuter but grosser than a 3-4 year old....therefore we are holding him out. We have a 1 yo and 7yo as well.

We paid tuition in advance and I've notified the Church Education department that I want to esnure our tuition goes towards paying the teachers in the event they are closed down.

Really sad for these early educators! If they shut the door they will not be compensated as most people pay monthly and not annually.

Also, my 7yo's soccer league is still up and running as of today. First game was canceled because competing school was a local Catholic school that was already shut down. My son's team is part of a county league that isn't specifically tied to KHSAA or a school.

Something tells me it will be canceled soon but as of now I think his league and UFC are the only two sports in America still open...

Can I answer with a question for everyone?
How about banning visiting people in the hospital? Seriously, I am asking your opinions.

I have a good friend who is in UL hospital. The same hospital that is testing for this virus. I am well over the age they are telling us to be extra careful. My wife is not only in that age bracket, but has a underlying health issue that puts her at even more risk.
The last thing I want to do is bring something into my house that could really hurt her.
My friend has been in isolation for a week. No explanation from the doctors yet what he has/had.
Would you go up there if you were me?
Tough decision for me.

Probably not.
I mean I am contemplating not going to Church today because of C-19 and I go almost every week.
I think as a society, until we fully understand what we are dealing with, we need to avoid large gatherings this side of the work place and the market which are essential for most.

MLB, NCAA, KHSAA, USSSA are all shut down at the moment but there are still rouge tournament directors that are having them. It’s all about the $$ for them. The saddest part is that there are parents ignorant enough to let their kids play in them.

I don't remember who it was but a couple weeks ago one of the democrat media people let it slip that this could be an opening for the dems in the election

that's when my suspicion that this was 90 percent political was confirmed. These people aren't even smart enough to keep their mouths shut.

If they were intelligent which they're not they wouldn't bring trump up every ten seconds

Nothing, if anything less things should be cancelled. The panic and hysteria is ridiculous. This is not "outbreak" lol

They put a ventilator in him and took it out last night according to his daughter. I find it odd the doctors have not told the family something as of today.
I am taking precautions when I go out, its just that I have no control over others and what they are doing. Scary times not really knowing what is happening.
Who ever said these were the "golden years" is full of ****.

Hospitals are probably the last place I would go right now just because of the high risk of infection. If you are in the elderly population I would stay away from hospitals and doctors offices until this thing abates.

If truly serious about stopping transmissions , shut down air travel and crossing state lines. If you are really truly serious , be serious ... but cancelling church , cancelling school plays , State tourney , cancelling outdoor sports that are sparsely attended ( girls softball ) isn't helping as much as it hurting .. IMO. I went out to eat last night in a place that held 100-120 .. waiting line to get in right after we stepped thru . Was at a local music venue Friday night .. people passing around bourbon and moonshine . You cant stop people , we ( I ???? ) want to be free , not locked up and directed like robots .

Prohibit Mike Dewine from sounding like a douche bag ... and I used to like him. What is it with solid conservatives that age in Ohio , they start acting like swamp rats . --- Kasich , Portman , now Dewine .

yes, Lets close schools down so kids can interact with each other in the mall, movies, bowling alleys etc... thats the way we can contain the situation.‍♂️ Plus parents have to work and now have to teach their kids at the same time. Does this mean we get two pay checks?

Absolutely nothing. It's not going to help. Maybe it will help keep from overwhelming the healthcare system a little.

At this point, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter if when you're going to be exposed. This will not slow down until most of the population has been exposed we build up natural antibodies.

In your situation I wouldn’t chance it, especially considering your wife. Call or Skype if you friend is able. Either he will understand. Another option is to send messages through his family if they go in.
