Really good. And I'm a huge fan of having the Colombians actually speak Spanish on the show. Just makes it feel so much more real.

Loved the show. Wife and I just finished the season. It's the like the book you can't put down. IIRC, the DEA agent is from Kentucky?

Do the subtitles get annoying though? Won't bother me, I can't wait to see this as I love anything/everything Escobar related.

Just wondering if it's something she will like, or if I'm better off doing this one solo.

Not really -- you get used to the subtitles -- part of the allure of the show having the actors speak the language. Read somewhere that the actor playing Escobar is Bolivian.

I think the wife will like it -- mine loved it -- especially if she likes the historical aspect of it. It is pretty violent though so that might be a turn-off.

The dialogue moves quickly at times so the subtitles can be somewhat hard to follow...but the dialogue is so good it doesn't matter. The Columbian parts make the show. Escobar steals every scene he's in.

I'm about 8 episodes in, loving it, though I'm completely fascinated by the whole Escobar story ever since I saw blow 15 years ago so I'm not a hard sell. First 2 episodes were a bit slow and it lost my wife so I've been watching it solo. One thing I'm concerned about is how long the show is going to last, it basically completely skipped over him coming to power and it's already towards the end of his run and I haven't even finished the first season.

The second season will probably end with his death. I guess it's possible that they have a 3rd season dealing with his rise to power, but it wouldn't make sense with the current cast.

He does die in Season 2 but it will continue.

The show came out over a year ago, and you're still worrying about your wife's opinion before starting it?

Get a grip, you *****. It's awesome. Watch it.

Good to hear. Best show on TV last year.

Lol at PTI, that guy is wrong about everything.

I love how the show ended. It definitely set up season 3. Narcos apparently wasn't just about Escobar. Cali Carter is up.

great show! love everything about it---especially the fact that it is based on real events. Anyhow, almost through season 2 and I regret that it is nearly over.

Its like I almost wish Netflix would drag out their shows and do them just once a week. Its too tempting to run through a bunch of episodes and then you just sit there for a damn year waiting for the next season.

Finished season 2 last night. Great great series! Almost regret it is over. Anyone with any insight on where they go with season 3?
