That’s the only thing we’ll have to worry about with Coach Pope. They’ll come after him at some point. With his offense, positive mindset, elite plans/adjustments, he’ll get phone calls at some point

Can't ever really be sure if that's an itch he needs to scratch in his career at some point, but whereas it's a given that most younger coaches would be gone, think it's a much smaller chance with Pope.

Who was the last college coach to go to the NBA and start hanging championships?

The NBA is about Superstars not about coaches.

I would be absolutely shocked if he ever left for any other job at all.

I imagine his mentor, Pitino, would give him pretty pointed advice on the matter of leaving Kentucky too.
