The same guy that is hyping up our crowd and student section constantly? I think he has a genuine respect for PSU and enjoys coming to our games.
I don't deny any of that. But he talks to much during a broadcast. Blackledge lets you take in the crowd and the atmosphere

That's fine, but his broadcasting is too much. It's like we can't have a second of silence, constant chatter about the same stuff he chattered about 5 plays earlier.

There was one time Herbstreit was quite, it was when Grant Haley crossed the goal line. Seemed like a minute of silence which allowed viewers to process what they just saw. Of course, I don't think he meant to be quiet, he was shell shocked at what happened.

Any idea of the time of White Out game against Washington. I have a crew coming with me for the game thus need some planning.

I don’t care for the drum thing at the beginning, it seems contrived, but the broadcast crew of Blackledge/Eagle is so much better than Herbstreit/Fowler. It’s not even close.
I like Herbie and Fowler more. Blackledge is just glum. Eagle has a great voice though. He looks like a troll though.

I thought commercial breaks were actually more lengthy on NBC over FOX and that’s saying something.
They did miss the ref tell Wisky coaches the foul was actually on 45 and not the one called the announced number they were complaining about…

The cameras caught the ref telling Wisconsin that it was on 38 (which was what they announced).

But I agree that they had to be calling it on 45.

It's either 3:30pm or 8pm...we'll find out next weekend.

Interesting they didn't decide yet. I think we've know it was going to be either 3:30 or 8 since the start of the season when it was announced as the Whiteout. Franklin and Kraft essentially confirmed, if you read between the lines, that they had been talking to the networks about possible start times when selecting the white out game so it was a given this one would be at worst an afternoon kick.

My guess is that if we lose and Indiana wins, they might choose that one for the night game. Otherwise, we'd get it. But that's also assuming that the 8pm game gets the first choice.

I actually think if we win we will likely get 3:30 and if we lose then go to 8 PM. That's just based on a personal guess that CBS has first choice for November 9.

Bernie is an out and out OSU shrill. Any hyping of PSU is all designed to enhance OSU if they win.

My money is on 8pm win or lose
On what network? BTN is booked at 7, NBC has ND/FSU at 730, ESPN has a game at 10pm, ABC has an SEC game at 730, the only opening is CBS at 330, I don’t think they do night games. I got a beer says it will be 330, by halftime it will be a night game anyway…. But Fox is still a possibility

Night game would be Fox. CBS has the 3:30.

This is why I do not bet. Go with 3:30 if that make you happy.
