I don't care for MSU in the 2nd round, with the Izzo factor, but otherwise I agree.

That will never happen though, no way we get that bracket OP.

That bracket is in violation of the recent supreme court ruling that UL must be in the same region as UK.

There is no way they are going to make the #2 seed in Kentucky's bracket a team that Kentucky beat by 176 points, or whatever it was. The committee is very aware of TV, and what casual fans would consider a watchable game.

That would be a UK - Notre Dame Elite Eight anyhow.

Right now KU is not a 2 seed. Unless Wisconsin moves up to a #1 I expect them to be the #2 in the Midwest with us. Duke/'ND in the East, UVa/'Nova in the South, and Gongaza/UA out West, though it could be 'Nova in the East and ND in the South. I personally don't expect ND to be a #2 by season's end though. Might be UNC, UL, or Maryland depending on what happens.

Shouldn't we end up playing teams that we haven't played previously this year prior to the Final 4?

We've had plenty of rematches in the tournament, and I think it would make the tournament much more interesting if the potential of matchups would be teams we haven't seen yet.

I know its not always avoidable, but its also obvious officials want to force you to beat a team 2 or 3 times in a year.

It has been awhile since we faced Utah in the NCAAT. I think they had enough of us in the 90's to never want to see us again though.

Pretty good bracket imo. More realistic than Lunardi at this point. Still I'm not buying Ok. State and a few others as tourney teams.

I think KU is just as likely as Duke to be a #1 if you look at the remaining schedule.Duke may drop more games than KU by the end of the regular season. There are several possible #1's out there but only 3 seats at the table.

They won't put Duke and ND in the same region if they are 1/2 seeds.

This. We would get ND due to them being in the ACC.

And idk what people are smoking with Wisconsin and thinking they won't get a 1 seed. They lost to Duke at home (another 1 seed) and lost to Rutgers without two of their best players. They probably won't lose again in the overrated Big Ten. If you think a 1 loss Gonzaga is getting the 1 seed out west over a 2 loss Wisconsin then you really need to stop pretending you know anything about the game of basketball. (And this was a general post, not a direct response to anyone lol)

Bring on anybody... I don't care who it is. We are far and above better than anyone else in CBB.

this is spot on . the one seeds barring something wierd happening will be UK ,UVA , Wisconsin and Gonzaga . 2 seeds imo are Duke , Kansas , Nova and Zona . I think the final 4 will be UK( 1 seed) vs. Iowa State ( 4 seed) and Wisconsin (1 seed) vs WVU ( 5 seed) . UK plays Wisconsin for a great title game . Uk wins 71 62 . Booker goes for 22 on 5 -6 from 3 . Andrew has 7 assists .

Soooo You would put Wisconsin and Gonzaga as 1 seeds ahead of duke*? Not happening. Gonzaga has too weak a schedule and duke already mopped up wiscy on their own home court. Duke's overall body of work is going to be far greater than either of those two.
As far as our projected bracket above, I love it except I think uk deserves to get the weakest 2 seed and that would be Villanova, not KU. make that change and I'll be buying my ff tickets now.

I'll pass on Wisconsin as a 2 seed. Methodical offense that can make shots, defend, and rebound is not a mixture I'd prefer to see in the tournament. Plus, they'd be motivated since UK crushed their dreams last season.

Anyone but the Badgers before the Final Four. Not saying they'd be favored, because they wouldn't, but I think they have the right mix to take down UK, more than Duke and Virginia.

If that bracket were to happen Notre Dame would be lucky to beat Murray State, they are going to be tough would love for them to get to play Kentucky for first time ever.
