NCAA Pods/Regions

Doing some looking ahead. I’m headed to Nassau, Bahamas 3/23-3/28. I’m trying to figure out If I’m going to miss games. I VERY VERY RARELY miss a live game - especially a damn tourney game!!

I’m looking at the dates certain pods/regions will play.

Few questions- obviously nobody knows for sure.

Are we pretty much a lock for Columbia, SC? If not what other pod would we play in? As far as seeding, I’m sure a million opinions- but I feel like we will be either the 1 seed or 2 seed in the Midwest or south? What’s some theories here?

No we are not a lock for Columbia. If committee puts UNC and UVA higher than Duke, Duke will be sent to Jacksonville.

So, IMHO. UVA is a lock for SC. UNC or Duke will be shipped off to Jacksonville (which I am fine with to stay away from the UNC idiots).

I think beating UVA a 3rd time in the ACCT champ game is the only way we jump them and get the east.

Gotta believe if season ended yesterday UNC would be the 1 in Columbia and UVa the 1 in Ohio. The distance for UVa is virtually the same between those two places. In all honesty though Im not sure how Tennessee or UK could get the 1 seed over Duke. I really dont think Gonzaga deserves one over the 3 top ACC teams either. They played 3 good teams all year, and went 1-2 with a pretty lopsided loss in Chapel Hill. Even if Zion played and UNC won both Duke matchups Duke would still be 3-3 against the Top 5 with a blowout win over UK and a narrow loss to Gonzaga. Way more impressive than Gonzaga’s body of work tbh. They either need to join the Pac 12 (i know the conference is awful this year but Arizona and Oregon had off years) or go at the very least the MWC, their conference is a joke

I would prefer Jacksonville for that exact reason.
