Venables owes OU fans an apology for being unable to improve the defensive side of the ball the last 9 games of the year. Yes, OSU was an exception, but the rest of the games are without excuse.

Tackling was awful 8 of the last 9 games. How hard is that to teach and work on? Assignment football had so many issues with players continually out of position and overrunning plays.

Roof needs to wake up or resign.

Lebby needs to learn how to manage a game when we have a lead. He consistently went conservative and cost us at least 2 games. And he needs to learn that when the result of a play, such as the marking of a ball and whether it is a first down or not, is in question, YOU MUST ARGUE FOR YOUR POSITION. His comment Saturday night that replay took too long and we needed to run a play was ignorant. The running of the next play fast cost you the ball when we clearly had the first down from the previous play.

This staff has been a comedy of errors and Venables needs to own it, apologize for it and fix it!

This is like Venables specially defense and we were this piss poor consistently??!!

Don’t get me started on Lebby. His usefulness has reached termination.

Roof was on Clemson's staff as a Defensive Analyst during the 2021 Season. Why? Then Brent hires him at OU to be the DC. Roof said a while back that if he wasn't brought in as a DA at Clemson that he wouldn't be at OU now. Brent obviously thinks a lot of him.

I have the feeling that Brent places an emphasis on how a man lives his life just as much as his coaching ability. That appears to be part of his “holistic” goals for everything in his life. That’s all good and well as long as he can find coaches that really have both traits. But he is likely to miss hiring the next Nick Saban.

I think he gave Lebby a pass. LOL

No Coaches should be given any leniency aside from Demarco Murray. Any other position Coaches flat out sucked. Both Coordinators outcoached every F’n game besides the non conference patsys.

How many assistants do you really think Venables will dismiss? One? Two? Three? Or more? I’m guessing none or maybe one…..the receivers coach. BTW, Lebby is set to get a $100K raise each year for three years.
