I posted last spring that I had inquired about a suite for the NCAA tournament. Today I received pricing.
I doubt it’s out of line with other venues, but out of line for my state teacher retirement check. 😁
I’ll be watching from my recliner in Archbold, OH.
  • Founders Suite | $60,000-$80,000
    • 18 tickets + 3 parking passes
    • Ability to place custom catering order for your group
  • Club Suite | $50,000-$70,000
    • 18 tickets + 3 parking passes
    • Ability to place custom catering order for your group
  • Theater Box | $40,000-$60,000
    • 8 tickets, 2 parking passes, and unlimited food and drinks

Thanks @OhioLion. I loved sharing the experience with some others from here last year. The one thing that struck me though was that the finals were underwhelming relative to the viewing experience on TV. But wow, Saturday morning was awesome with the rapid-fire bonus wins our guys were reeling off.

Watched in a suite a few times and it's an unbelievable experience but it's getting ridiculous with the prices now

I’m notoriously cheap. I think I was in for $700 or so in 2020 in Minnespolis, then COVID. Yeah, $3,333 for midpoint of Club is prolly too much guilt for me after last year.

Nope. Those prices are sans food and drink. You'll be paying $15 per box a popcorn and $50+ dollar for a six-pack of cans in addition. A few catering packages are available, plus unlimited is available like Corby said.

Not much different from last year and sometimes the prices lower (very little if all last year) for a suite or two that isn't sold in a couple of months. I paid $2500 for a club suite seat as we were $50K for however many seats we had, I think and then we split them between 20 guys (some guys gave up some sessions they weren't attending). We split up the food/bar bill at the end and it was another $250 or $300, I forget.

Philadelphia was a very hot ticket, so while I'm not surprised they are not going down in prices this year, I wonder what the price will be in January if they have some unsold suites because demand in Cleveland is not the same as it was in Philly. Maybe it will be - it will be interesting.

Doesn’t Cleveland have more nearby places to go between sessions relative to Philly?

Finals are the worst session and it’s not even close. One mat, long commercials, 1-1 matches in the 3rd, etc

I've had my tickets through Fan Experience for a month now. 4 rows from the mat. Food before each session, food and drinks stop when the session begins.

Fan experience entrance, short time standing in line. No free parking.

It might be cheaper to identify, court, and marry a single mother of one of the top 33 wrestlers at any given weight (avoid HWT, those boys can eat $$$) before Cleveland and hope to attend as a VIP family member in March.

I woulda done Theatre box w/others for 2 tix. I went the Fan Experience route as didn’t want to leave it not locked down. I did a box for 2018 on the ‘50-yd line’ when Bo Nickal hammered whats his face from da OSU to seal it. It was EPIC!!!!!

Anyone interested in my spot in line for this offer?
I honestly would need to look back and see what the deposit was to hold my place. Either $100 or $500. It’s refundable and that is all I’d ask if someone would like the opportunity.

I had my call with the sales rep this morning. All they "had left" was a single Founder's Suite for 18 for $95,000. She also offered a Theater Box on the end for 8 for $45,000.
So much for the Suite Life for me. Back to the cheap seats. Like such a thing even exists.

Fan Experience, 4 rows off the mat, food and drink before each session, separate entrance to get in the arena, no long lines, former wrestlers to meet in between sessions, my grandson got his picture taken with Bo Nickal and got a nice signed white board photo of him.

What is the scoop on what I’d be signing up for if I was interested?

I used to post previously under handle that showed a fondness for bourbon and blues, this is my new one.

I think I told you before about how we went to see the Big Ten's at the University of Maryland two years ago? A ticket for that was $50 through the Maryland booster club. I just gave him a $50 donation.

One disturbing thing I've noticed it is the cost of entertainment has skyrocketed. I saw Whiskey Myers a year and a half ago and a ticket 6 to 10 rows back was $160. Now I'm paying $250.

Second row is $442. I like to get as close as possible and pick bands my wife and I really like and get the real good seats but they've gone up by 50 to 100% just a year or so.

And these aren't the top flight acts you might say Cody Jinks and Aaron Lewis were too we saw on that situation.

My cousin could tell you about his experience with Penn State tickets, his seats are in 40 yard line at about 20 rows up. They will cost approximately $700 a ticket per game after he pays his initial $10,000 buy in.

This is happening to any place that builds a new stadium, permanent seat licenses seem to be standard now.
As an aside in your negative woods I've talked to people in Annapolis and they're talking about investment groups from Baltimore buying up a lot of properties and doing so-called upgrades on them like the waterfront Marriott.
My wife is born July 5 and she loves to get the waterfront balcony room for her birthday and watch the fireworks in July 4. We don't travel home a lot so I like to indulge or but my initial booking for that room was $1000 a night for three nights. I did it to make sure we had a room for the 250th anniversary celebration but I always check to see if the prices came down and now we're paying approximately 750 per night for the room .

I hate to be that kind of guy but it seems big money ruins everything. When people of decent means all of a sudden can't do things they've done all their life you know there's something up.

Wife and I used to drive to State College, book a hotel, walk up to Rec Hall on Friday night to watch Penn State women play volleyball.
The next day we walked up to Rec Hall and bought wrestling tickets at the window.

One weekend we were lucky, sitting at the hotel bar next to a Lehigh wrestler's dad, he had 2 extra tickets for the dual meet. His son happened to be wrestling Greg Elinsky, I kept quiet in my seat.
