Don't understand why fbs schools keep scheduling them. They are tough as nails.
Also I'm glad I don't have to listen to the female commentator say bison anymore. Something about her inflection was like nails on a chalkboard.

Barta (Iowa's AD) is a NDSU alum. He's getting heat on the Iowa board for scheduling them. It's a lose-lose game for Iowa and a casual fan that doesn't know much about them look at it as a bad loss even though they are probably a top 30 FBS team. Iowa fans would much rather have a team like Oregon on the schedule than them even if it meant a loss. Good game by the Huskers today, congratulations!
You are absolutely right. No win for Iowa. It was a no lose for NDSU, which is why they went for 2 IMO. It did them no good to go for OT. They wanted to end the game in regulation. They have a playoff to worry about, and don't need a double, tripple, OT game.
IMO, the missed 2 PT conversion played into NDSU's hands, because Iowa played conservative trying to burn the clock and hold the lead.
I won't give Iowa and crap for losing this game because I want no part of that team for Nebraska. They would give almost anyone a tough game.
I still say Iowa is the favorite for the west, just due to scheduling.
Iowa has scheduled 2 Power 5 teams for quite a while now. Unfortunately, one of those has been horrible ISU. Hoping they stop the contract that ends in 2021 and Iowa can get some games like Nebraska had today.
Yea playing teams like this does Iowa no favors, if they win then they were supposed to and if they lose (like they did today) then there the laughing stalks of college football.
Yep. I'm not surprised at all that NDSU won. There is a reason why N.D. State is the 5-time defending National Champ. They just know how to win. Very impressed with that program.
