That's 125 MPH but upon impact it was WAY faster than that. It was almost vertical. Horrible stuff.Learjet air ambulance. I read that it descended at 11,000 ft per minute. Absolutely horrible
It was only in the air for 40 seconds and estimated speed at impact over 240mph.That's 125 MPH but upon impact it was WAY faster than that. It was almost vertical. Horrible stuff.
Is Frank Vans Auto Tags still there? I went to grade school with Karen VZ and was in their house a number of times?Very, very close to where I used to go to church when I was in HS and at Ogontz Campus according to reports (ABC 6): "The Philadelphia Fire Department advised residents to avoid the area of Calvert and St. Vincent streets." That's the back corner of the church property. I was actually at that intersection in September when I went "home" for my 50th HS reunion. I was taking photos of the "now" of places I went to as a kid.
Yes, that appears to be the location that sustained significant damage. Is Frank Vans Auto Tags still there? I went to grade school with Karen VZ and was in their house a number of times?

Very sad indeed.
On a related but separate aspect, this sad outcome re-emphasizes how meaningful AJ Brown's visit was to that 10 year old victim (survivor).
