Got to have the big uglies in the trenches to compete in the SEC. No reason to think he would bring them here.
No thanks he brought in some guys that had no business at UK. Ie Scharlman for example.
Leech. Should've brought in Petrono when the chance was there. Those seem to be the 2 nMes that constantly have me saying. Why not? They're much better coaches than stoops. People here have been trying to tell me over the last couple years who else would've I wanted and that stoops was the best option. But those are stoops apologists that know not a damn thing about football. Petrono was obviously a better option. Leech was an even better option. If stoops was truly our best option then we might as well end the football program. Just a coach with actual experience. Stoops puts the stoop is STOOPid. There goes fan attendance. It's the only way MB will listen.
Like I said in another thread, we have the roster and facilities to attract a decent coach this time around. Don't know if it'd be Art Briles big but we could get a decent coach. Maybe Sonny Dykes this time? Brohm has WKU playing good and I'm sure he'd like a crack at the SEC. No need to settle this time around. Good facilities, roster good enough to compete, and the bar isn't set that high here. We could do much better than Neal Brown IMO.
