As much as it would suck to have a UK assistant as out head coach.....he may actually be the best coach available outside of Day or Venebales. Im starting to warm to the idea...

We had a former Kentucky grad and coach in Howard Schnellenberger. We had a former Kentucky basketball coach in Rick Pitino. Each of them stayed more than 10 years with good success. I would accept that kind of proven talent any day. Mike Leach was also a former Kentucky assistant coach. Do you realize how hiring either Brown or Leach would grate the Kentucky faithful with their long term commitment to their current coach.

I'm a UofL fan first and a fan of the coach second if I'm a fan at all of the coach. It would have been that way with Jeff, and it'll be that way with whoever is offered and aceepts the job.

Neil Brown is a pansy and was terrible as uks OC just a few short years ago. No thanks and may God have mercy on anyone’s soul who thinks he’d be the right hire.
UK had less offensive talent when Neal and Stoops first got to UK than UL has now. It was really bad. It’s actually remarkable what Neal was able to do with the lack of talent he had. He had one of biggest jumps in PPG in college football his second year at UK. Tyra said on the news today that he’s targeting offensive minded coaches that score a lot of points. Neal Brown would fit that description
