holding secret/unauthorized practices under a scheme to deliberately deceive school compliance officials
just the tip of the iceberg of what is going on at that program under frost

they were allegedly meeting up on a farm outside lincoln and running full practices - coaches and all
not just a few guys meeting up and a coach off in the distance observing

recruits would be well warned to stay clear

I just posted this in another thread that I saw... I came over here just to get a feel for OU thoughts about the game as I'm getting excited for it...

I don't think Frost is going anywhere soon... the NAAC has no teeth anymore and this is minor compared to other things that have been shoved under the rug in recent history (Ex: Baylor).... I'm not saying it's right, just that it'll fade away... as for Frosts tenure, the team needed a complete overhaul, what he took over was a huge mess... yes he's stepped in it many times with his comments but he's doing a lot of foundation building and we finally "look the part" this year. Whether or not we can translate that to wins is yet to be seen... and last year was a crap show for all teams in some way, shape or form... therefore, this is more like season 3 than season 4 for him... the consencous around here is that he has 5-6 years, maybe more depending on progression to get it done...

This is what I posted in another thread about moving the game:

It's a bad look for us (Husker Fans) for sure if true... which unfortunately I believe it is true... I will tell you that Huskerland was pissed off when this rumor hit months ago as the vast majority wants to play OU regardless of what happens on the field... we long for the nostalgia of our old rivalry and for the history of this game...

I will be in Norman for the game in my Husker gear with my good friend who is a Huge OU fan and am looking forward to it... Hopefully we'll be at the game in Lincoln in 2022 so long as schedules hold together with Covid/conference realignment

Best of luck in the SEC! Show them boys what the Big8 was all about!

wouldn't surprise me if he has another losing season that he'll be gone.

frost has hired a lawyer to protect him from his own university .. it's going to get ugly

the ncaa was notified from someone within the university .. they are building a case to get rid of him with cause or at least negotiate a greatly reduced buyout

I've heard that Frost and the Ad had a falling out and they wish to fire him. But contractually they'd owe him a boatload of payout. So they basically reported themseleves to the NCAA. Once they come down on him, Nebraska can walk away w/o the payout. Don't know if this is all true but it's what has been reported.

Nebraska has two dwarf throwing jamborees before OU: September 4th vs Fordham (seriously ???) and September 11th vs Buffalo (which may be competitive).
The Huskers may not be unbeaten entering the OU game.
A once storied program is turning to dust.
Current commitment list for NU's 2022 class of nine players is ranked 64th by Rivals. All are 3-star rated. Only 3 are defensive players.

Cornstinkers open next week against Illinois. Very possible that they are 1-2 entering the OU game.

Their 2022 recruiting class is horrible. Real big possibility that this is Frost's last season.
