Other team did not throw and he was our MLB. We lost21-14, but I definitely remember the game fondly just for his play

Yep, Franco always acknowledged he would do that if there was no opportunity for extra yardage. Why take more unnecessary pounding. It worked for him as he remained active and healthy after football.
