I would almost say it's a forgone conclusion that Hillary will be your nominee for the office. I have a couple of questions I would legitimately like to understand.

  1. What has she done that qualifies her for the office of President?
  2. What are some of her legitimate accomplishments in her relatively short political career?
  3. Can your support of her for the Presidency waiver assuming she gets the nod in the Primary in light of everything coming out about her?

Just to make it clear, I'm not baiting here, I'm just curious as to your thoughts and will not argue a single point you make. I would ask others against her to do the same. This is your opportunity to speak unchallenged propaganda for Hillary.

In the spirit of cooperation, I will be open about my position. I deeply loathe the woman and cannot fathom any circumstance in which I would vote for her.

Contact Dick Morris, he will gladly enlighten you about her contribution to society. And he puts in in writing for anyone who would challenge. Probably will not get much air time from the networks.

1. She has served an 8 year work study in the White House. She served in the US Senate. She served as Secretary of State.
2. Can't think of any.
3. I honestly wouldn't have voted for her before this info came out .

I want a 3rd center based party, not that it would represent my political views, but would hopefully start pulling this country back together again. Push the reset button. I would like to see CNN and Fox removed from airways for 1 year. I want abuse of power monitored closely and punished severely when found. I want term limits for all .
I am a diehard conservative about to become an independent.

there is little evidence her leadership as a first lady, senator, or SOS involved solving problems to the level of qualifying her to be a president. There needs to be an overview of her leadership causing success at making significant situations better and at a sustain level. What did she improve as a 1st lady, senator, or SOS qualifying her to be a president for all Americans? Probably very little or not enough qualifying her to lead a country. This country needs presidential leadership it has lacked for so long and she doesn't have it in her. She is dirty with corruption from greed, lust for power, and a perversion of the power given to her.

In 4 days, not a single person that supports or identifies with the left has responded to this thread to promote their candidate.

Ding Ding, we have a winner above. I don't really want Hillary to get the nomination but will vote for her if shed does just because she is the democratic nominee. much bigger difference between the GOP platform and the Democratic platform these days. Unlike when I went for Ws Dad back in the day. Hillary makes the right go crazy so I'd prefer a less antagonizing figure to promote the Democratic platform.

This is my stance as well. If she was the only person on the ballot I would write in Charles Manson.

Given time I think that people might warm to Bernie Sanders as long as they listen to his stances adn plans and pay less attention to image. I don't necessarily think that it's a foregone conclusion that she will win the primary. Her numbers are dropping already with little opposition just because she is so loathsome.

I would expect at least one more Dem candidate to enter the fray as well.

Doesn't matter much to me, I'll probably still vote Libertarian again.

I don't mean to slam you on this, but I think this is part of the problem. I don't think I've seen the candidate yet that reflects all of my views. I've voted for candidates on both sides of the aisle in presidential elections based on their stances on issues I found most important or other times due to them sharing a larger portion of my views. I try to be blind to the party, although I can't say I've been perfect in doing that in the past, and I doubt I've achieved perfection in the last few years. In a presidential race, I have yet to vote for a third party candidate. I do research them the same as the major party candidates though. I do the same for state and local level elections, and I have given third party candidates votes in those. If we continue to vote for one or the other of the major party candidates exclusively - as if we only have 2 options - we will only ever have 2 options. The scales are already tilted in their favor - they get the press coverage, they jointly control the debates.

In short, if you don't think a party nominee will be the best president out of the options you are presented, that person should not get your vote.

It's not the blind leading the blind, it's knowing you don't like the other party's platform or ideals and you won't vote for them regardless. Dems do it and Repubs do it. And FYI, I'll never vote Republican as long as I live.

I would not vote for her as dog catcher, but you have to say she has more experience than Obama had, and I believe she is much smarter than Obozo.

Why is that? Is it safe to assume you are basically a socialist? I'm confused as each candidate has a different platform. Specifically, someone like Giuliani, is liberal on social issues (Pro gay marriage, Personally against abortion but Pro right to choose, pro immigration, etc.) he is fiscally and militarily conservative. He's basically a 60's Democrat.

Making a definitive statement that you would never vote R under any circumstance is fine, but in my opinion is a little telling.

I would love for Giuliani to run but unfortunately, he would never carry the religious consortium of the party. I personally can't stand that part of the party myself, but you can't discount their views as they make a sizable percentage of our country. They also have every right to believe the way they do.

For me personally, the social issues are a sideshow to what needs resolved. Strong economy, strong defense, strong education and strong foreign policy is what is important to me. The other stuff is special interests and I don't believe in putting individual special interests ahead of the good of the country. If the country falls or is drug down by those who don't contribute to its betterment, it really doesn't matter as everyone will then suffer.

Just my opinions though.

Agree with this - Strong economy, strong defense, strong education and strong foreign policy is what is important to me.

Disagree partly with this - The other stuff is special interests. Human rights are never unimportant. I think how we treat each other says a lot about a country; how we treat our elderly, less fortunate, widows and orphans.

From the other perspective, we would say how we treat our country says a lot about us. We are certainly not contributing nor respectful members when we expect the country to take care of us generation after generation.
